Pause or Hold a Job

Roopairs allows you or your technicians to pause or place a job on hold if necessary. Follow these steps to learn how!

Pause a Job

Navigate to the jobs section of the dashboard and click In Progress

• Or click on Jobs on the left navigation bar and then select from the list of jobs the one you wish to pause.
• Once you have selected your Job, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Pause Job.
• You can select whether you wish to Quick-Pause this Job or actually place the Job on hold. Quick-Pausing is typically for periods within the same day -- for things like taking a lunch or heading to the shop for parts. Placing a Job on hold is for longer pauses, like if you need to wait for parts to be shipped and aren't sure when to reschedule yet.
• After selecting either Quick-Pause or On Hold you can then enter in your Pause Reason and click Pause.
• To resume the Job, simply navigate back to it and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Resume Job.
